Overview
C&G are working in close collaboration with senior planning and design officers at Southampton City Council and are proud to have submitted a full planning application for the redevelopment of a disused brownfield site. The proposal seeks to deliver a 170-unit, all-studio, purpose-built student accommodation scheme.
The development directly addresses the critical shortage of student housing in a city that is home to both the University of Southampton—a prestigious Russell Group institution—and Southampton Solent University.
It also aligns with Southampton’s broader ambitions to enhance the public realm and contributes to the wider Southampton Renaissance vision, which includes the revitalisation of the Station Quarter.
