The Stables

A charming development of 10 houses arranged around a picturesque courtyard. Built in 1886 by Sir Charles Mills to house the horses and carriages of Wildernesse Country House, The Stables boasts a rich history. It later served as a convalescence center in WW2 before becoming the renowned “Seal Laundry.” A careful restoration has preserved many original features, ensuring its history lives on.
